“Wear what YOU think is right for you not what others think is right for you” by Dorje Arts

A girl with Tibetan hat, shirt, necklaces and a hand woven bead necklace from
Africa used as extra head dress. (I made all the necklaces) :)

A wife was asking her husband what he thought of the dress she was interested in at a store the other day. The question, “What do you think?” Of course, this is not an uncommon question I have heard but it made me reflect back on my own “What do you think?” From Elementary to High School I worried about what others think of me with what I wear. I was surrounded by multiple cultures, yet I never felt I fitted anywhere. If I go to the Tibetan party, I sweated worrying about if I was wearing the right chupa (dress) or get completely embarrassed when someone criticized my dress or my speaking ability. If I go to the Nepali party, I froze over, “Do I dress American or Nepali?” I hid my Tibetan necklaces because I thought kids at school will make fun me for wearing long red coral necklaces mixed with turquoises in an American school.
Then one day about half way to my high school year I sighed, “I give up! I don’t care what others think. I am going to wear what make me happy!” It was one of my most uplifting moments in my life. I felt free! I thought, “I Love jewelry and clothes all over the world! I love Tibetan jewelry and sparkling Nepali dresses! How could I hide them in boxes! My main propose of watching old Hollywood movies and European period movies was for the dresses and jewelry. Who says only stars and royals get to wear fancy dresses and dazzled their hair with jewels? I could do that too!" Sometimes I like to dress up and go out not because I want to be noticed or to please someone but it makes me feel good.
When you don’t think about what others think, you feel more confident, creative and you start to appreciate the clothing or the jewelry you wear as if they are a piece of art :)
Don't be afraid to express your inner self expression!! :) Dress for your liking!! :) :) :) :) :)

Gluten Free Fried Bananas (dessert)

Here is my gluten-free dessert. Gluten-free  fried bananas  topped  with creamy coconut  ice cream! :)

I recently  had a fried  banana at a Thai restaurant  recommended by a friend. I hasitated because it was something new. BUT I said,"Break old habits and try new things!!" And I am glad I did it was really good and my friends  and I ate it really fast like a dinner! The only problem was the dough was made out of wheat :( As tastey as it was I knew I will not do well with the wheat  part later. No, I did not end up at the hospital. However, I  was ready for bed in a hour. Wheat puts me to sleep and sometimes  makes me slightly  deaf, which  might be useful  in some situations but not when you are with your friends.¤¤¤¤¤☆☆

Days later I had slightly two  sad looking bananas screaming ,"Please don't  let us get old and make us end up in the trash!:) " I gave the bananas a second  chance and turned them into crunchy, crispy, sweet gluten free dessert! And then the banana fairies came and turned the two old bananas  into banana  prince and princesses. HAHA kidding but who knows..

I covered  the cub sized bananas with a rice flour and warm water mixture  and fried them in a olive  oil. ( I don't  recommend  olive  oil for frying in general  it burns too fast. Try grape oil. Of course, nothing taste as good as fried wheat goods but I thought my gluten  free fried banana was not bad! I did not add sugar  because  bananas get sweeter once it's  fried or cooked. What made it better was a scoop  of plane coconut  ice cream! ! :) :)☆☆☆♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆

Life is sweet and peaceful  when you come by a good dessert! :)

What is Time?

Time is when your flight gets delayed for hours and you wish time will go faster.
Time is when an inpatient person behind you tells you to go faster! And to calm their nerves down, you walk extra slow in front of them to annoy them just a little more then tell yourself "that's how I roll!" :)

Time is when a child spends 10 minutes singing ABC while using the potty.
Time is setting your alarm to watch 10 more minutes of your favorite TV dramas instead of cleaning your room.
Time is when you regret you had more time with your love ones before it was too late.
Time is spending quality minutes and seconds with your friends and family watching movies, going for walks, drinking tea and coffee, and romancing what it would be like to live in castles or travel the world.
Time is when this blog is getting too long and people have moved on to the next thing
J
Time is precious! So, just enjoy time and don’t look at it too much! J

What is Time? ?

Bus ride – A bus full of characters

My morning bus ride – There was a man with blood shot eye with bruises on his knee, a woman with mustache, a service dog with a pink bow, a grandpa with purple hat and four pens in his shirt pocket, a bus driver that kept dropping his skittles, a man with missing teeth and me, half awake.
A beautiful rainbow during my bus ride home!! :)

Garden inside the Denver Airport

I was trying to kill time (not literally) at the Denver Airport and came across this indoor garden above the underground train!
